About Our Board
Since founding in 2011, our Board's mission is to support and enhance the relationships among alumni, students, and faculty of the JMU Department of Political Science, in addition to our fellow Dukes working in related fields. Our Board is comprised of 17 alumni volunteers representing the three majors of the Department (i.e., POSC, INTA, and PPA), faculty representatives, student representatives, and additional partners from the University. We strive to promote learning, networking, and mentoring opportunities for current students, alumni, and faculty through regular programming, fundraising campaigns, and special initiatives.
